Winter Texans keep RV parks busy

Winter Texans are RVers who come to the Lone Star State seeking warmer weather, some traveling from as far away as Canada. They start arriving in October, sometimes staying as long as March.

The Daily Times in Kerrville, Texas, features a story about a local RV park that entertains Winter Texans, who give the parks much welcome business during the quieter winter months.

Are you a Winter Texan? How far will you be driving to get to Texas? Leave a comment below and tell us your story.
