Whiz-bang gadgets (dishwashers, fireplaces, etc.) don't matter as much as a good walk-around bed and a roomy-enough bathroom. Storage comes into the equation, too, and knowing what lifestyle you are choosing (will you move along every day, every week or, like us, about four times a year?). My point is that it all takes thoughtfulness.
